Applicants to CODI’s Advanced program who we judge to need more background will be asked to register in the Essentials program as a prerequisite. The OD and Change Essentials program is currently being designed. It will reflect our commitment to experiential learning, and to the union of theory and practice. Like all our programs, it will be practice-oriented and theory-based. The course will include:

| The CODI Advanced Practitioner Series (APS) |
The Advanced Practitioner Series brings, specialized, short workshops to the OD and change community. Advanced Practitioner Series Schedule with Dr. Marilyn Laiken, CODI Academic Co-Director Course Fee: $600 This 2-day workshop is designed for managers, supervisors, consultants, team or project leaders, and informal group leaders in any setting. Change leadership through team development has become a key strategy in growing high performing, 21st century organizations. Cohesive work teams, in which personal needs and organizational goals can be aligned, are central to effective organizational performance. However, highly effective teams do not suddenly emerge on their own, fully developed and highly motivated. Successful teams require careful and consistent nurturing as they evolve from a collection of individuals to an integrated, high functioning unit that unleashes the creative potential in each of its members.
