OD and Change Intensive program
A 12-day program in three modules
An in-depth exploration of OD theory and practice
This 3-module, 12-day certificate program is designed to prepare you for the complex work of designing and facilitating organization development (OD) and change whether you aspire to become an OD professional, a more aware and skillful manager, or for those already in the field, to improve your effectiveness as an OD specialist.

Intensive is an annual program beginning in February and ending in May. It can be taken independently, or as a component in the MCOD, the Masters Certificate in OD that CODI offers in conjunction with the Schulich Executive Education Centre (SEEC) of the Schulich Business School, York University. The MCOD consists of Intensive, SEEC’s Business Acumen for OD Professionals, and the OD Practicum. Within the MCOD, either Intensive or Acumen may be taken first, but both must be complete or in process before entering the Practicum. Like Intensive, Acumen can be taken as a standalone course.
Detailed module schedule:
Module 1
9AM – 5PM Wednesday – Saturday, February 20-23, 2013, with David Kelleher and Karon West
Module 2
9AM – 5PM Wednesday – Saturday, April 3-6, 2-13, with Karon West and Diane Abbey Livingston
Module 3
9AM – 5PM, Wednesday – Saturday, May 8-11, 2013, with Diane Abbey Livingston and David Kelleher
This program requires an application. Graduates receive the CODI Intensive program certificate of completion.
CODI’s 2-day intro to OD, OD and Change Essentials, is highly recommended as preparation for the Intensive program. Intensive participants receive a 25% discount on Essentials, credited to their Intensive account. The next Essentials program is October 18-19, 2012.
Note that the Intensive program is also the first component in the SEEC/CODI Masters Certificate in OD (MCOD).
Fee: $6,300 (includes all materials, lunches and break refreshments) + HST
Upon acceptance, a deposit of $2100 is required to secure your place. A second payment of $2100 is due two weeks prior to Module 1, and a final payment of $2100 is due two weeks prior to Module 2. In your letter of acceptance we will provide a link for paying the deposit and the other two payments online, using VISA or MC. Alternatively, we would be happy to receive payment by cheque.
